Port Ambrose

Port Ambrose is a proposed deepwater port located roughly 19 miles off the coast of New York that will be used to import natural gas in the form of liquefied natural gas (“LNG”)

LNG is natural gas that is super-cooled to convert it to a liquid for safe and easy transportation.

• LNG is odorless, non-toxic, and non-corrosive;
• Does not pollute waters if spilled, as it quickly evaporates and leaves no slick or residue behind; and
• Is safer and much less volatile than gasoline, diesel or ethanol.
